My guess is the price has just gone up due to the purchase of £475 worth (?) of fairing. (hopefully gold-plated carbon fibre)

There again, it's been down the road so you may get it for less than £1500
:smt005 :smt005

(he'll probably maintain that having it crash-proven is a desirable benefit and push the price up to 5 grand or something)

nice thing is kwack, if you bought a falco, you stand out from the mille herd

especially one which has had a few bits done to it - what does the average mille owner do? change the exhaust and put a double bubble on at most.... amateurs :)

have you ever ridden a falco btw? if not, as i believe you are fairly close to me, pop over one evening - admittedly mine is one of the fast coloured ones, but it would give you an idea as to how one of those silver slugs performs....

..... and it will break you in to Aprilia 1litre V60s while you wait for the right Mille to come along.

(don't tell him that it never will 'cos he'll find the Falco will be all he's ever wanted)

I guess Gio may even chuck in the odd baguette to clinch the deal.

The other point to consider is that Rich's Falco deserves to stay within the Forum ...... Kwackerz saved the ARS - now it's time to save the bike .....

it'd be like wanting a GSX-R and buying a GSX-F to satisfy that want. (Close as I can get to a representation..)

Ive not ridden a Falco although I have ridden a Mille ( admittedly it was a red one, but hey..)

Reasons I dont want a Falco:

1. It isnt a Mille
2. It isnt a Mille
3. It isnt a Mille
4. It hasnt got a Mille Frame
5. It hasnt got a Mille's Bodywork or tail unit
6. It isnt a Mille and doesnt even look like a Mille
7. A Falco in Haga colours still isnt a Haga rep Mille.
8. The logbook will say SL1000 not RSV1000
9. The frame is gopping on a Falco. I like the frame on the RSV.
10. I want a bike with Race Pedigree not Cans of Pedigree in the panniers. (steady.. humour...)

:smt001

Aint gonna happen!

8. The logbook will say SL1000 not RSV1000
9. The frame is unique on a Falco and looks far better than the frame on the RSV.
10. I want enough money left from the purchase to maintain a generous supply of Marstons Pedigree - not Cans of Pedigree Chum that I would have to buy to feed the only women attracted by a Mille. (steady.. humour...)

:smt001

When can I collect it Gio?
A convincing argument Kwackerz - welcome aboard

Well there you go then half a Mille at half the price a whole one would go for. Plus its faster than a standard Mille, sounds the dogs unlike a Mille with dustbin attached, looks as agressive as a Mille from the front and the arse is a lot nicer, which is why Milles queue up behind it :smt003

Anyway Milles are mostly thrashed :smt005

PS I'm glad you don't want it I'd get jealous. :smt002
