RS's very own Suzi Perry!!! :smt005
Must have been a tough decision matey and mucho respect to ya. (What no 'hat-tipping' smiley!? :smt003 )
At least you went out on one of the most stylish, soul-stirring machines ever to grace motorcycling. :smt004
Two is the magic number... ;)

Mmmm I think I've got a goodish chance, she prefers older blokes I've heard and you only have to look at how she looks at Steve Parrish :smt016

Well that list of injuries does go on a bit .... having your crack on the bit of your pelvic region that usually sticks out sounds frightening .... or did I misread that bit. :smt017
Glad you have made a decision that you are happy with Gio and we'll be happy to keep talking to you on here - especially with that CB400F in the garage ..... we'll see how firm that decision remains when you've got it fully fettled !

Are you a member of the VJMC?
Their website is not that hot but as a source of info and parts etc it's not a bad organisation if you are trying to restore old Japanese bikes.

.... and when you've a good stock of spares you don't need, just remember that there's a garage in the midlands with a CB400/F waiting to be re-born !

Gio!! no bike!! it's a bike forum!! you'll just have to leave!! ok you fell off and bent your bike and grazed your knee!!

This is how it works, you have a big off, you go to hospital and read about what bike you are going to get when you are better .........

It's definitely three wheel time!

Stay on the road Gio! I'm gonna come up there with my trike so you can have a go - not sure when but I will!

Everyone thinks they'd hate a trike after a bike but only if they've never ridden one!

Sorry to hear about all the cracked and bent bits - on you, I mean!

I do sympathise with the 'don't mend as quick when we're older....." bit too!

I've already had a go on a combo, which IMO is downright dangerous, they seem to have a mind all their own. Then of course last weekend in North Wales we had a ride out on the Saturday afternoon and one of the blokes had a trike, I felt sorry for him, not only did he get caught behind every caravan north of Watford Gap it then rained. He should have been in a car.

I might have had a trike if it had protection in bad weather, but as we have a car with a soft roof whats the point :smt017 . Thanks for the offer Bobbie :smt001

What a damn bit of bad luck! Just heard about this thanks to RickyRock.

Gio, glad you're not too badly hurt. Get well soon!

But..... Give up biking! That's a hard decision to make. You might feel different once the body's healed. Why not defer your decision? :)

So you've not lost your sense of reality then Gio. :smt003

Good luck whatever you do mate, you'll always be welcome on here, bike or no bike.
Trouble is staying on here may mean you get the old "itch" again.
Then again you could use the same cream you got from the Clinic last time! :smt002 :smt002

Yeah - ask snap about that one! That's why I opted for a trike!

Exactly my point, until you've ridden one, you only see the bad points!
