
Ohlins forks

I now have the bike back, ohlins forks all fitted and looking good.
First impressions are good, although how much of that is down to the fact that the fork oil in these is probably considerably fresher than the oil in the showas is unknown. They certainly feel more planted and the turn in is sharper.
I will be changing back to the falco clipons with shims though, I do lie th feel of the lower RSVR bars but they make the brake master cylinder foul the clock mount on full left lock and prevent me from using the steering lock.
Photos will follow but they look pretty much as you would expect.

You might be able to achieve a similar bar position by putting the RSV clip ons on top of the top yolk (need to pull the forks through the yolks to do this). If it's only the res hitting the clocks you should be able to move that quite easily. IIRC Aladinsane mounted the res directly to the bar clamp for clearance.
