But you have to perform the correct rituals.

The appropriate left-handed hammer, impact driver, dremel, or whatever, must be anointed with the fluids of a virgin black Falco, sacrificed with the sacred torque wrench of Nekhbet* under the hooves of Sleipnir, in the ruins of Wednesbury bus station on a propitiously rowdy Saturday night

and I thought it was Sekmet?

Sekhmet was a lioness

Nekhbet is more appropriate in a Falco context

Got most of that, but I've not lived there for 15 years, so my Wodensbyrigian is a bit rusty

Well getting the thread back on track for a moment.

Got the ignition barrel off with a Dremel and a Flatblade screwdriver today. Took all of 5 minutes and it is now attached to the new yoke. :smt003

Just got about a million jobs to do and she'll be ready to ride. About 2107 at the rate I'm going. :smt012
I'm right 98% of the time so why worry about the other 3%?

It's always the "easy" jobs that take the longest, changing my brake pads on my Mondeo yesterday, gave up after 3 hours working on one side cos couldn't get the piston to retract, and had jammed the winding tool in place. Was just about to take the angle grinder to cut the tool when managed to get it to release with a "spanner extension". Took under an hour today to sort both sides this morning including taking the wheels off again, go figure.
