I'd also be looking at that really cheap one - needs those silly high bars ripping off and the top fairing replaced where it's been hacked but at that sort of price ......

well it looks like i've been gazumped for the Falco in Bradford.

I phoned yesterday for more info and the guy said he'd call me back. He couldn't get through and someone else phoned asking about all the things discussed here, standard pipes, chip, etc etc. he had all the info to hand as i had asked and the mofo bought it.

So, if any of you spot a good un, drop me a private message so i can get in first. :smt002

All for the hopefully bargain price of £2500. Get to meet her next Tuesday and hopefully all being well bring her home.

just been looking at the Tuono forum, by no means as active as you guys here in the Falco section. Only 3 threads this year by the look of it and one of them was mine, with most of the posts in there from you guys with Falcos from what i can see :smt023
Guess this is the bit when i get told i should have just bought a Falco then. :smt002
I just couldn't resist what looked like a real bargain, only time will tell i guess.
Plus i get a new bike and 1yrs comp insurance for what the insurance paid out on my nicked Z1000.
Lets hope i'm not wanting to make lemonade in a few months with the massive lemon i bought.

Yeah the Aprilia Ridersite is very Falco-dominated but the bikes are the same at heart - don't get despondent at the lack of Tuonos - there are one or two here and you can still have a laugh with the rest of us.
:smt003

Oh - and glad you've got an Aprilia BTW (and left yourself an upgrade path) :smt002

Nice to know D-Rider, i likes a laugh.

it did seem that some of the "essential" upgrades people were doing to the Falco were on the Tuono, swingarm, shock, twin Akros. Bonus of Brembo brakes and a very good price and i was sold.

Still have to see her in the flesh before i'm totally sold though.

They are monstrously good fun, just not as practical (or good looking) as the Falco.

Great bike and it still has a V60, so no problem.
Falco is more of an all rounder.

We'll still talk to you anyway!

technically the wrong forum but, i went and did it. I bought my Tuono last night.

Not the most pleasant ride back from London in the cold and the rain but made far more bearable by the Tuono.

Can't bloody ride it yet though as no tax. Gotta wait for the fookin insurance docs too now. Better bloody be here before the weekend.

Obviously as i don't qualify for here now I may see you over on the Tuono forum.

Happy days. :smt001
