I think mine's got the stand generally regarded as crap.

However, I've never had any problems with it - including two ferry crossings, so its staying as is.

Sometimes I think people need something to f*ck about with or they ain't happy - it's what makes life more interesting.

yep

lets start a sweep on when chabby posts looking for assorted left side pieces....

first dibs on april

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Google is my friend! Found a whole website full of BlackAdder quotes.

Only one cup a day at the moment. Too much and I get rather.... "tense".

I just used the Falco stand off eBay that nobody seemed too bothered about.
:smt009 :smt017 :smt009 :smt017
It fitted straight on and worked perfect, (with no welding or tapping required!). Didn't fold away quite as far as I liked, so just had to grind a bit of metal off the "stop" lug at a later date, so goes up further now.
Only MAJOR problem I had was the need to file off about 2 mm from edge of the Skidmarx belly the belly pan at the back, where it just caught.
Glad I went for this "crap" option rather than the "easier" Gixer or Firestorm options. :smt009 :smt017
P.S. the weld is good on my eBay stand!

Don't recall anyone suggesting this was a crap option - other than 1 report of a bad weld.

Most of us went Gixer or VTR before this new-fangled device came available - therefore we didn't have the same option. Again, I don't think anyone has suggested that these more established routes are easier.

The main thing is that there are ways to improve upon the standard item and the good thing for the fettling fraternity is that there is a choice of solutions.

What modifications should the clubhouse have?

There's a plan .... for the clubhouse, I think we should just take over the next place that a few of us meet up - wherever and whenever that may be.

Not so sure about the handshake .... people could suggest one.

Maybe you should decide - being as you seem to be squatting in club property
