So having decided that 15/44 was too frantic and being too tight to lash out on buying another sprocket I changed back to the 17 tooth front sprocket. I was still seeking a cure for the jerky on off throttle action when riding in town.

Having fitted a Gabro chip which I hoped would cure this problem but seemed to have little effect it was previously mentioned about balancing the throttle bodies.

I hadn't got around to buying a set of balancers but decided to check where the screws in the throttle bodies were currently set having read that they should be in the region of 1 1/2 to 1 1 3/4. So the front was 1 1/2 and the rear was 3/8ths of a turn out!

I may come to regret this and hole a piston but prior to getting my gauges I set them at the above settings. What a difference these crude settings seem to have made. It felt much smoother in town with a lot less jerkiness so hopefully when I get my gauges and set it properly it will be as smooth as silk, ish :)
