Probably something that's pretty waterproof, given previous forum outings...
A six man tent is a bit over kill but that's up to you. Generally a two man tent is best for your bike kit and yourself to fit :smt003
Yeh, wasn't buying a 6-man for this, more if that was what I had should I be looking for something else for bike trips. Cheers Alad, will take a look at Tesco and see what's up at the moment.

Coughs politely

A two man tent may fit the average rider with his gear but

Some ridersite regulars are not stripped down racing snakes.... In fact some of us are cuddly

Some of us can't settle with out our pipe rack and slippers

Others require our dictionary and grammar guide

Three man is realistic

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Sorry Jay this really couldn't have fallen on a worse weekend. A really good friend has planned his stag weekend on these dates in Edinburgh so I'm afraid I'll be taking my drinking prowess to to show the scots how to go about it! I am gutted both fall on the same weekend.
I will try and send Geoff Mutton as my representative though.
I don't care if you lick windows,
Take the special bus
Or occasionally pee on yourself.
You hang in there sunshine, you're special!

Damn Damn Damn!

I've had this on the calander since last year, even booked the Friday off work and it's all gone "Pete Tong" over the weekend. Been invited to a family wedding on Saturday 22nd (can't really get out of it cos it's the only remaining relative on my Dad's side and he would have loved to have gone had he still been with us).

ok me thinks..... I can still go on Friday and head home on Saturday after breakfast......

Then tonight Tom (my eldest) calls to say he's playing the Friday night (21st) at Beverley Folk Festival, last on before the headliners....... so we really must go see him cos it will be a bit of a homecoming gig for him.

Sorry peeps.

Just ordered my tent.

And my waterproofs.

Just need two good hands now and I'll be there!
