Ghost in my machine is back

... Still haven't done anything more about this, but had a dash reset tonight when i did a start with clutch in for first time in ages. Grasping at straws since the last fzap non start and realised that sincethen I've been starting without the clutch held in. The weak 'russian roulette' starts had been with the clutch in but the in last 1000miles or so of 'good' starts have been sans clutch. Could there be a correlation between the clutch and rubbish starts? Desperately want to prolong the life of the sprag, hence my earlier diligence with the clutch on startup.
