The law and the insurance industries are clearly a pair of asses.
It's illegal to have a bike that is uninsured even if it's kept in your garage and never used (unless it's on a SORN) .... but you don't have to insure for a passenger ??? WTF ???
Surely if your bike has 2 seats, insurance MUST be there to cover it - it should be illegal for them to offer insurance that doesn't cover pillions (unless it's a dedicated single seat bike) ....
