In standard trim a Falco puts out 118 bhp at the crank which is something like 105 at the rear wheel - so, TBH, getting over 120 at the rear wheel is a fair old achievement

That big bore kit..
I saw 120ps which equates to 118.3hp
The standard puts out something like 114bhp @ 9,250rpm
Thats not much really is it? Looking at the graphs they have up I suppose it gives a hike all along the curve, but..?

Thanks D-rider .....it's been a very long time since i was last called a KID ...
Considering the RSV's are meant to be 130bhp then it's not far behind ....makes up for the extra by their looks , bike not riders !!!

Yes they are close to that - but that's also an "at the crank" figure too.
The new shape RSVRs are quoted at 141bhp at the crank - but they are more revvy - depends whether you like low down grunt or more top end really.
For me, low down and mid range is where it counts - you can't blat about all day on the roads in the upper reaches.

and I repeat - the mid range grunt matters more to me - i have a lot of fun between 5k and 8k in all gears :)
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
