..... and remember, Griff will often take his workshop on the road to where you are .... still be a lot cheaper than the £650 service !

In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

ok cool will remember that for next time :)

you think the crash bungs could take that long to fit?

its not the fairing drilling ones - its the lowers that just bolt straight on

No - not unless they are not particularly competent

Think my best was about £550 at an Aprilia dealer nearly 5 years ago, but that was the 10K service with valve clearance checks and included a new DID chain and sprockets.

well thats probably equivalent - this was at 9k, but as the bike has no history I wanted the full service seeing as its nearly due (and I'm going to be hitting 10k on this European tour)

the bike already has a new chain and sprockets, but they did fit the scott oiler instead (not as much I know)

will definitely looking into the Griff situation for the next big service though... though I am miles away so not sure how that would work really

Get together with a few other northern folk that are not stupidly far from you and make his trip worthwhile.

If it's a valve check service, you'll need longer - they have to be done with the engine cold - not a ride in, service, ride out I'm afraid.
