As far as earplugs go, I always carry them. Anything over a few miles and I use them.

As for my hearing, similar abuse as already mentioned. However, as far as I am aware, my hearing is not too bad.
Better than my 15 year old. But that might be selective on his part

I'm glad to say no... by that reckoning I'd be getting one of those congratulatory telegrams from HRH about now...

On the topic of earplugs, today I tried the 'custom' earplugs I had made up at the Bike Show last year, and bugger me they are good. It's like someone switched the world off. There's a definite knack to getting them in (and out), but I reckon they're as good as it gets.
