I've just flown back from Malaga today, almost the whole of central Spain is snow covered !!
The coastal mountains on the east coast of Andalucia were snow capped, then a bit of a clear area, then snow covered almost all the way to Bilbao, the news programs over there were going mad about it, showing kids out snowballing, cars skidding all over the place, (somebody should tell them about treating their roads with sand, gravel, rock salt and sugar beet shite!). Got up before 7am this morning and the outside temperature at the villa where I was staying was 2 degrees C. I was staying up in the the hills at the back of Frigiliana, but the overnight temperature in Malaga was only 3 degrees.
Drove up the road to Ronda during the day on Thursday, and it was between 2 and 3 degrees on the way back, but more on that trip later, what a road, wish it had been the Falco rather than a bloody 207 hire car.
