Thanks Tim. The only question now is if I'm up for a hundred miles or more with clipons and rearsets.

It's looking increasingly likely that the idea of getting everything done in time to travel down on Friday evening is going to be something from the realms of fantasy ............. not completely abandoned that plan but Saturday morning is looking much more likely.

Beers and coldness wont be a problem.. A way will be found

If not, you know what it's like over on the marshes, a quick sacrifice of a virgin or two and the gods will be fine..

Have just spoken to the owners and they are looking forward to our return.

:smt001

My OIC Domestic and I went shopping last night.

Breakfast has been decided as standard fayre..Bacon, Eggs, beans, Tomatoes, Sausages and Toast

Croissants later on in the morning to accompany coffee/tea and hangovers

Lunch will be a light affair of sandwiches or noodles, something to tide you over suitably.. as no doubt there will be a ride out or potter along to a pub at some stage

Sunday Lunch will be decided during Saturday

Evening meal will be Salad, Burgers, Sausages and new potatoes on Friday, Chili Con Carne on Saturday. Sunday to be decided on the Saturday.

As always there will be Brew kit and Beer, Spirits and soft drink available

Should have mentioned earlier that I'm a veggie but will eat fish on occasion. Can sort out something for myself easily enough I should think.

Tim has asked me to show you this picture of the sign at the end of the track to the barn at the point you turn off of the Norfolk Super-highway :smt005

Image

It's the little sign in the verge just in front of the Corsa ..... though don't look out for the Corsa when you are trying to find the sign - it might have moved :smt002

did Tim ask you to show that sign because he made it ? :smt017 or just because he was proud of how high he had got it without ladders :smt002
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

OK ...... it's now clear that I won't be able to leave for Norfolk until tomorrow morning at the very earliest.

The changes I was making to the bike were more of a PITA than anticipated and although they are done I've now got a couple of other problems - plus all the luggage brackets to fit even before I think of packing.

My biggest issue now is a lack of front brakes. I had noticed that one of the brake lines was rubbing on the front fairing subframe and wearing and at about 2am last night, realigned the run .....
This morning I came to ride to work and found I had no brakes. Obviously got a bit of air in there last night as I realigned it.
Tried to bleed the air out this morning but it wasn't having it and so I've had to take the car to work. Tonight I'll try to bleed it properly ... but am way behind in preparation.
I'll aim to leave tomorrow morning .... if all goes well. If not, it'll be later ....
