...provisionally, count me in for camping Saturday night. Haven't used that bloody tent since I wrapped myself in it that first trip to Norfolk :smt016

Was this the occasion referred to?

I'm more than a little bit pissed off by this (not pictures of people sleeping off hangovers wrapped in tents, I hasten to add...)

No - it seems that as soon as I plan a trip to our moneypit/building site/gaff in France and book the ferry/plane/holiday from work, some forum activity gets planned.

Take the 'Not a Wake' weekend, for example. Best part of a year ago I snapped up some tickets to see Frankie Boyle live. Guess what - they're for his performance in Wolverhampton on Sat 8th September, and we're catching the ferry to France the day after - so absolutely no chance to join in the fun, frolics, drinking and tent-bothering in Norfolk.

Well, have a lovely time all of you b'stards...

Signed,

Grumpy of Sheffield...

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

No, I'm Saturday (Friday is not completely out but it's unlikely)

So the excuse "I was only checking the light fittings" wore a bit thin every time he stared upwards whenever a nurse in a short skirt passed by ....

flatlander - what are your requirements - ie, just you, family or ?? and how many for?

I may know a few places in the area....

(My parents run a B&B but they are closed then - but they will know who and what is good close by)

Have a good time everyone....especially you Samray!!!..,.. as discussed with Peter Pan, myself and Davina will not be able to come as we are traveling to the other side of the country with half the family (including the mother in law).

Sorry we can't be there.
