I was a die-hard fan of these guys in the sixties and bought every single. Both sides got routinely played to death; but I have to admit this is one of their more obscure moments. Even the A-side isn't widely remembered these days.

Well seeing as that one is going nowhere and it's friday night and all, here's another...

Did you forget about me Mr Duplicity
I hate to bug you in the middle of dinner....

I'd just like to say the previous one which proved a bit too eclectic was the Rolling Stones - 'Who's driving your plane?'. It was the 'b' side to 'Have you seen your Mother, baby, standing in the shadow'.

Ah - they don't make song titles like they used to...

Both 'No' and 'Yes' are fraught with dangers...

No takers?

Ok, the rest of the first verse minus the last line, cos it gives the title

There was a guy
An under water guy who controlled the sea
got killed by ten million pounds of sludge
from new york and new jersey

The year was 1989, they are from Boston USA, female bass player?

Easy now eh!

OK - see what you make of this...

I am angry, I am ill and I'm as ugly as sin,
My irritability keeps me alive and kicking,
I know the meaning of life, it doesn't help me a bit,
I know beauty and I know a good thing when I see it.
