Indeed, Howard! I almost went down the 9R route.. a mate was selling his but I resisted the bright green paintwork..

Yes, No swingarm changes needed, although the jury is out on wheels.. and forks off R or SP's

'Appen I already have a plan for lowering the seat height to a more hobbit-like level. :smt001
new triangles? (do they have them?) or scoopy out seat? scoopy out seat a bit harsh on the derriere I know this as my 'Prilia has all of 10mm of foam twixt me and the seat pan. and a squashed shock 'cos it's 300 squid for the lowering kit

Swap the seat out for a home-made affair, c/w 10mm foam. It's an RSV.. you're not meant to sit on the seat, it's merely a place to rest your cheeks betwixt corners... or wheelies.. or both.. and hedges..
Besides I come with my own ample seat pad :smt005

More likely a 2003 model on a 2004 plate.

This is a 2004 model:

Indeed, a slight of keyboard, I meant 2004 plate however I shall tell when I get the frame serial number, the RSVR/factory came in during late 2004.

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Cheers FP! only taken me since 2000!! Chuffed to bits with it and have already started looking into suppliers for parts.. shorter race subframe, seat unit, stuff to square away the rear lighting, etc, incorporated rear indicators, etc I have a list of all the good bits Ive seen on Milles over the years (mainly from the weekends spent at Renegade) and will work my way thru the list.

I'll keep the standard parts for when it comes to the time to sell it on (which I doubt will happen)

No, didnt get any parts from Renegade, which is a damn pity as Jorge wouldve just let me have them anyways :smt022 Tomoko wouldve frowned, but hey ho.. Hindsight is a wonderful thing! I had moved up country when he shut shop up too so didnt manage to get any of the pre production/development stuff that laid round the back store either.. :smt011

Im hoping above all hope that when I get it home and raise the tank I see a carbon plate.. I know it's been played with, I just hope properly (and if it's got one, with the proper airkit, not one of the lesser ones..)

I intend to spend as much time modding it as riding it for the first few months when time allows.

Thanks to everyone else for the comments.
Pete, Thanks...

Gawd time is just dragging soooo sloooowly... is it Friday yet?
