You can insist on your old licenses returned, with the top corner snipped off like a passport.
MCN ran a big thing on this a few years ago, DVLA made some spectacular cock ups, one being an adress change on license belonging to Foreman M/cycle mechanic Thames Valley Police, license returned with no bike category on it and DVLA refusing to accept his employers word re his bike entitlement
Copy or scan both licenses before posting them and have the copy endorsed by someone upstanding in the community like a (handy Hannahs dad) Barrister
Cleverly disguised as an adult !

Make bike security your priority in Hempnall.

Trust me, Ive lived there and grown up there. One whiff of a decent bike and the not so local toerags will be wanting to play with it It's not a bad place, just don't be complacent with the fact it's fairly quiet

I may know someone who did something like that :smt003 and did the address change at the same time ... and now allegedly has two of them
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

That nice helpful young man in Mumbai told me that it would not happen untill the 25th of june as it was a new line.... I tried to point out that it was a new number not a new line but he seemed happy enough as he explained it in Hindi.....
Oh dear.

I realise also I still have all my old licences, said I'd lost them :smt005
