i fixed a cyclinder head on a cx 500 with an old con=mfort blamket and glue once rode round with the blanket glued round it to soak up the leaks and deaden the noise for ages till I had to redo it with instant gasket
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
