Close enough.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

Sorry I messed up there. I should have said ebay are on the side of the buyer. My post might make more sense now.

This guy in Sweden that bought the XL motor does not appear to be in full control,as my mate listed it for me on Eblag he is getting between 1 to 8 messages daily from this freak. Todays message went something like
There is a piece missing,I do not have this on my old engine but it is 11cm long,5cm wide at one end,8cm wide at the other end and the smooth shaft is drilled with a threads put in it
If its missing from my engine and his how does he know the dimensions of the missing piece (whatever it is )
The rest of the messages are questions about connecting the engine electricks to the loom so he is obviously trying to fit the motor, the one he says is wrong and needs a refund for.
Its almost funny

Tell your mate to inform him that the engine does not come with instructions!
And the Swedish equivalent of Foxtrot Oscar!

Be VERY Careful & keep all the records of ANY & ALL e mails & replies, Be civil be robust in any refusals to reimbuse.
Previous poster was correct that E Bay will be on the side of the SELLER because he is complaning first so line up your ducks & march them in.
Remove the account from paypal or they take the payment back & hold it pending a outcome which will be done on THEIR terms & not nessary the correct outcome
Also your money may will be in the other persons account with no recourse for you because you or your friend have signed their terms & conditions.
Advice - close the account first & I mean close it don't just block it from paypal.

The plot thickens.....
the money can be removed from the paypal acc BUT if this little tosser wins this dipute the money can be removed from my mates bank account ( he is a trader so accounts are linked)
The Swedish meatball has admitted a Honda dealer has told him it IS the correct motor and its bolted in his frame so it fits but the twat disagrees with the Honda dealer as the engine to loom wiring differs
All messages are being saved but have to wait another 12 days before I can finally say FUCK OFF

I woluld call his bluff and tell him you will offer him a full refund on the return of your engine.
I would also tell him if he returns the wrong engine you will know and report him to ebay..
I am sure you will hear no more

You could do that and make him pay the costs for returning it and only release the money once you have taken delivery which of course you never do

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Different wiring for different markets or for different model years. Typical issues of fitting parts from one thing to another.
Clearly plenty of evidence tthat you've supplied what you said you were supplying

Another time wasting tosser, have a few folk over here wanting the lump.and Iwant my Falco OTR

Its been stood for around 2 yrs. I passed an HGV medical, applied for HGV provisional then had my license revoked because they decided I was unfit to drive
So tyres are now rock hard (they were shit anyway),rust has got to chain, needs service ect, nothing that serious
at the end of the day its mostly down to money,as I no longer drive at work my wages have fallen to £14,000 or £6.75 per hour.....
and I no longer have any insurance no claims ( Ive never had a claim against me in 30 years)
