Hiya Doctor!

Lovely looking Falco you have there. What mirrors do you have installed, and how difficult where they to install? (I like the idea of the mirrors with indicators in them.)
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.

Very nice DrJ, Couple of questions (probably more)

I agree with Alad on the bar ends and grips, nice, what are they?

Similarly the rearsets what are they and do they work with the std falco gear change?

What's the deal with the extra bits above the front brake banjo?

Have you swapped the clutch and rear brake reservoirs? (the clutch fluid is clear and the rear brake is dark, just sayin')

Interested in the position of the bars. From the pics they are clearly under the top triple and down the forks a bit, but they look high compared to the fairing. Is that a function of the radial forks or a personal comfort/handling thing?

Lastly - can you use the swing arm to do your hair? :smt016

Theres not much you can really do about that is there :smt009 Well I have a brand new set tucked away in storage, and a set of high mount renegades along with another set of SL carbons that could be used for 'bits' Buy a set of cheap cans and keep your eye out for a RH side can, as I have noticed a lot of guys are now trading in their falcos and selling off their bits to make more $

Thanks mate

They are RSV mirrors with custom cnc machined mounts

Check this link for details:

I retained the front indicators (in conjunction with indicators in the mirrors) and installed led items, as I like to be as visible as possible whilst in traffic

Nosey lil farker aren't cha!

The grips and bar ends are rizoma items.

Rear sets are titanium gilles items (Ti has been discontinued only available in gold & black now) & the normal gear shift is retained (they do not allow for GP shift.

The front banjo is oem, just has a set of anodised blue caps.

The reservoirs well the front brake is a new item, the different hue you see is somewhat of an illusion. The front brake and rear brake have a 'blue' dot 4 mobil fluid, the front clutch resoirvoir was rebled when the oberon clutch slave was installed with mobil super dot 4 which has a honey appearance thus making it look cleaner then the blue fluid.

Yes the bars are higher then oem, as gilles variobars have been installed with 100mm risers. I believe these are Nooj's old bars, they have been a PITA as the levers or master cylinders clash on the fairing :smt017

I use the swingarm as a mirror to polish me boots with :smt003

Thanks for the quick reply. I read that thread ages back. Just never have the free cash to buy stuff like that. :smt009
