For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

The B1225 just north of Horncastle is an ok road :smt023
Your spot on moose i love this stretch of road...
Anyone who would like to go could meet up at trent port at gainsborough then up to caenby corner, and so on through to willingham etc etc.
The caister road is about 17 miles long, but from gainsborough to willingham woods is also a good stretch :smt003

We've had a run out before from Newark and down Caistor High Street to Willingham Woods, following one of the Newark Barge meets a couple of years ago, everybody enjoyed it then, I'm up for it if weather is OK.
Failing that I can fit in as an extension to the Newark meet again sometime in March/April/May, if we can get that sorted.

I have a few major issues that have cropped up on my side this weekend and it won't be as easy for me now, as I have stuff at work to sort, stuff I need to do on the wife's car before the MOT due shortly and things I have to sort at home. Have been really busy at work and other things have got left and built up.
You mentioned the 25th but I assume the main ride is Sunday?
If so I hope to get out to join you for part of Sunday afternoon, (although Saturday afterrnoon might also be a possibility). Can you let me have some details of where you expect to stop and when, and I can try and meet you somewhere like Caistor or Willingham just for part of the day.
Obviously you are not gonna be able to say exact times when you'll pass Cadwell or get to Caistor, so if I am really struggling it may be a case of meeting you at Willingham if you are stopping for a longish break there in the afternoon.
Was out at Willingham on Sunday afternoon, it was pretty sunny and the roads were mainly dry, but it was bloody cold, especially the trip back when the sun went down.

Sorry mate I am going to have to work again tomorrow for part of the day, so it will be difficult to get there now. At the best I won't be back in from work until after lunch, but could be later, so I hope you have a good run and the weather stays fine.
Hope to catch you soon possibly at Willingham or South Leverton.
