Hello Billy
Those pannier frames look like they've had a chat with the adjusting stick.

Oooh - If I'd been sure this was possible I'd have had a set of those cans when I was looking at them some years back ..... and more recently I'd have bought the Falco Fighter pillion pegs.
Oh well ............
Oasis Green with Fighter Cans - it has to be HornetRider's Falco
(and those are NOT Akras)
nope allegedly Arrow made the cans for Aprilia under some exclusive deal for the fighter kit. Trying to verify it ... as they have no markings on them not even not for road use

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.

I think Jay may need to mod the silver falco to take his zimmer - poor lambs mind is going already....

dunno flatlander
I fink they might be a bit loud for me. Aren't they "not for road use"
Biting nails come MoT time and what happens to the pillion?
Those luggage racks are cool though. I'm looking through ebay to get
a nice topbox off of a honda blackbird.

John (RandomSquid ) put me on to the luggage rack and bags and I really like them. Can be hard to find and if you are an idiot like me lol you can complicate fitting them. If you are a normal to non technically challenged individual then they take less than 30 minutes the first time.
When you take the bags off the frames are really unobtrusive and you can pretend your bike is an X fighter
The cans I have never fitted so can't sat how loud they are but they are not stamped "not for road use" as far as I can see. I would suggest any of the modern cans that don't have DB killers or removable baffles then you remount the originals for the MOT

My motad venoms are not stamped but to this day they sell them . Even with the baffles in it is louder than standard. Without the baffles in they are really loud with a nice deep note

. If you are trying to find cans that are quiet i think you will have to stay with the origional has all aftermarket ones tend to be louder . But i do believe you want it to sound like a proper BIG V Twin

Tolerance will be our undoing.

Just a reminder that aftermarket cans aren't all about noise, they should lose that flat spot too.
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

well yes, I want louder but not really loud.
Like with baffles as you say.
I used to have a BMW R1100s with remus race pipes, cooee they were
ear-splitting. Riding a BM with noisy pipes, I'm a bit dangerous me.
A bit too loud though.
Besides I haven't recovered paying for my sprag clutch yet.
Maybe I should just go and curl my hair, put on a dress and call myself goldilocks. Or that artist bloke.
Mind you they do look good.

I think - repeat think that new cans are still being made by Fuel and Blue Flame
I have owned both - the fuel cans sound fine, both with and without the baffles in. The blue flames sound awesome - a lot fruitier :)
Second hand, there are a lot of choices around - arrow, akrapovich, Carbon Can Company etc all made exhausts for the falco...
me, I am biased - i am rather partial to the sound of my renegades though they are not quiet!
with regard to high mounts - think about how they will impact the rear pillion - the street fighter cans will need some fettling to fit the rear foot rests - the orginal kit came with a set of replacements for this - they are a tad rare! I have made a set of spacers to enable my rear pegs to be fitted - when I need to fit them!
oh, for the record, my complete exhaust system is off a mille and has been modded.... have a search around and you will find that some one is making a mid pipe falco mod that looks interesting and may well open up other choices :)

to be honest, I'm more concerned with pipe that don't muck up
the motor.
Or even make it a bit nicer. The remus on the BMW defintely
made it behave better at low revs. It used to stall quite often on
standard pipes. it did have a cat though.

any of the above then.... the standard cans are bloody heavy, and obviously designed to keep the euro nazis quiet....
Oh - I think beowulf also still make falco cans
