How about this. I've got an appointment at 10:20 about half an hours ride from the NEC. So when I land which will hopefully be between half 11 and 12 I'll phone Blinky 'cause I've still got your numbers backwards in my phone thing. If you're on site you answer your phone and we'll both go to the same place. Where we'll meet. Similar with Mart if he's there.

Failing that how about 12 by the Aprilia stand.
If anybody else might be there PM me and I'll give you my phone number.
I'll probably be on the kwak.

I'm toying with heading up on Saturday - can you keep an eye out for any kit bargains and let me know if there's generally a lot of stuff on sale? I'm after a new lid and maybe some hard luggage/textiles/random stuff. The last time I went to a bike show I got a tinted visor for like a fiver and various bits of kit for next to nothing.

Cheers!

I think I'll be there about 9.30; going with my fat bastard welder mate, & he wants an early start.

John, ring/text me when you get there, & I'll find you

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

Will have a nose and report back. Bloke at work's bro went yesterday and didn't find a cheap helmet to suit. Didn't mention anything else.

I didn't know they have dates on them - where should I look?

Also, does the date really matter? I thought the reason you were supposed to replace them was largely due to the effects of sunlight etc rather than just how long it was since it was constructed. Guess I could be wrong about that.

arai give / gave a 5 year guarantee and were most resistant to making that from the point of sale. They wanted it to be from the point of manufacture. It took several phone calls to Holland and some visits to Stoke, luckily the main importer is only down the road. :smt001 That saids they did offer to cut the damaged area out and glue something over it to hide the damage.

I wasn't impressed g...got them to change it in the end though.
