grass could do with a trim though its making the bike look untidy :smt002
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Welcome to the site Rich. :smt006

Nice choice of bike. :smt023

The standard clip ons are quite good as they are when you get used to them, even for an old fart like me.
As has been said, bars over the top of yolk may suit you better.
May just need to drop the yolks a tad, and loosen some cable ties a bit, check that nothing is pulling tight, usual plumbing and throttle cable etc..
I have Beowulf Titanium ovals and am very happy with them, but they are a bit loud even with baffles still in, then again I have had them on a few years, so could probably do with re-packing.
Once you have run a Falco on race cans, you will never want to go back, as the poor things sounds strangled, you almost can hear the gasses trying to find a way out!
Enjoy the bike when you get it!
I've had lots of bikes over many years, the Falco is the best of the lot and the most reliable I've owned (well over the 7 1/2 years I've had it so far.

Hello, ............................. bought a 2004 Falco from my Brother in the UK. Baby forces sale etc. Thanks Brother.

I don't collect until December. loud though).

Any recommendations?
Lets forget about the "evil" baby "forcing somebody to sell a Falco"
(Not thinking of calling it Damien by any chance?), and concentrate on the good news. :smt003

Everybody should be lucky enough to get a Falco for Christmas, once in their life!

Have the newbugs all had their credit ratings checked?

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Welcome Irich and all others ive missed on your entrance!

I reckon Alad, we need a flowchart creating.. with rough order of costs..

1. buy bike
2. fit stand @ 50 quid
3. Change Standard shock @200 quid

etc etc..

Alongside each 'tier of fettlement' we should have links to various credit facilities.. first tiers using things like 'slush fund' as sources of money.. leading up to the tier with fitment of larger TB's and the like having mortgage lender links alongside.. :smt005

I've found the most effective financing option to be:
  • Opt out of company car scheme
Company pay a nice monthly allowance into a separate account that I tell my wife will be used not only to run the car but also the bike - saving household expenditure
Buy an old car (actually my old company car that I'd kept for about 7yrs rather than the 4yrs I was meant to)
    Pay car costs from account
Lavish goodies upon the bike from what remains
... all went well until the car's engine ate itself last year landing me with a 2-grand bill - but I'm still well up on the deal. I just don't get to drive a new car but as I don't drive the car much anyway, I don't care about that.
