I was a bit tounge in cheek a bit serious as you may find it a pain but you could strip it to recover something also Blinkey recently found one breaking in londinium that may have the parts you need. Check his posts or pm him. Also our kiwi cousin was in two minds whether to kill his blue one IIRC
The company was AC BIKES at dagenham 01322222731. I can tell you one of our forum members needed the bracket arrangement and bought it. the fairing was damaged on left hand side but he wanted 30 quid plus postage, although it was cracked and scuffed i dont think it was expensive for what damage there was. but you may beg to differ

. I have bought a damaged one but just scuffed and paid more, the fairings are like rocking horse shit for a mint one at reasonable money. I have a standard screen for a tenner plus postage if you are stuck

So many replies, who to answer first?
Yes, I did consider a donor bike but for the parts i require it would be quite an outlay and would leave with a lot of bike to move on afterwards (garage is a bit full these days as it is due to similar ideas) so I swiftly dismissed the idea before I got tempted.
Blinkey, thanks for the info, 30 quid sounds like a pretty good price to me, repairs are no problem as long as all the mounting lugs are still intact, I will give the guy a ring tomorrow. I would also be interested in that screen if you would like to offload it just drop me a PM with a price including postage and how you want to be paid and I will get back to you.
Someone mentioned repairs, when I get around to it I will post a picture of the sorry state of the fairing, even a tight git like me would struggle to repair it since it is not only pretty broken but most of the mounting lugs have broken off.
Think that just about covers it, DR have replied to your PM

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Wow! Wemoto have significantly increased their range of parts for the Falco - that really is worth knowing.

Don't you start, guy at work has been taking great delight in telling me how all of the parts for his Factory are a fraction of the price of Falco ones. I swiftly pointed out that he doesn't have to worry much about crashing it as he never rides the bloody thing

Managed to get a pair of the longer mirrors from an auto jumble at the weekend for a good price however I need a set of the plastic bracket and ball joint type arrangement that holds the mirror onto the subframe if anyone happens to have one.

Woohoo. Sourced all the required parts and they are in the post as we speak. Many thanks to all who offered spare bits and pieces but fortunatley I managed to find an undamaged bike that has been broken and got basically the whole top fairing.
Now all I've got to do is decide on a new paint job to work on over the winter. At the moment I'm between the 2004 Cube colourscheme and something in a sort of pearlescent satin white (think Ducati 888) but not sure how to make it work at the moment.
However, any suggestions from the floor would be carefully considered (apart fropm all black and metallic sludge colours).

Ahem.
I think you'll be referring to the 8
48 Ducati. The only colour an 8
88 Ducati would ever be seen in was the finest Ducati blood-red...

I don't think I could handle a completely black bike, but there have been some very nice whote Falco's done. Next bike may become white with tricolour graphics, have to wait and see what happens. Have to get a second bike to start with

Black is fastest!

Has aladinsane will tell you i was collecting panels to make a white theme for my bike. but i suppoose there are plenty of shades. whilst out with my wife last night in retford a new car went passed in white but there was a bit more too the paint work and i think i will be going to the dealers for the paint code has it looked awsome. I have been quoted 40 quid to have belly pan done in metalic black which i think is very reasonable, just need to save for rest. On another note has anyone got names for their bike has i am going to call mine fortune has it is costing me one

I do not tend to share what mods folk are doing - I like to think it should be their surprise....
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
