Why? Don't daughters have equal rights?

its down to the individuals personal choice and that includes the choice of not accepting others behaviour even if you respect their right to it. For example we had my brother stay with us one time and said the only real rule was not to treat the place like a knocking shop as it wasn't just my house but our home. If he had a steady partner fine whatever but not dragging some drunk back from the pub. So when he did I chose not to accept it and suggested it was time for him to move on.
I suppose in a way I am saying it is not just a question of the familial relatiuonship but also one of manners
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

The responses are interesting, in that they seem to reveal a difference in attitude to the broadcasting of the concomitant noise emissions of copulatory activity between generations.
While I'm aware that my daughter is a an adult and free to do what she wants, I'd rather that she and partner, however fond of them I am, didn't broadcast the sonic manifestations of their mutual regard so freely. Shagging (in the case of humans) is, to my mind, a private matter, and should be kept as such.

I think it's not only what people are generally entitled to do but what you allow under your roof.
I guess all my sons are also legally permitted to do what they like in this respect and should they have their own homes I guess it's up to them. However, as for such things under our roof well once they are married they can but I'd still expect a degree of constraint regarding associated noises - certainly not emulating the sounds from a Wimbledon women's tennis final.

You could offer a round of applause, or words of encouragement along the lines of "Is that the longest you can manage? You're no son/daughter of mine!", or push some score cards under the door afterwards, maybe embarrass them into a quieter performance next time

Like figure stating result cards. 6.4, 4.3, 6.1 etc..lol..
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

Reminds me of a delicate conversation I had with my parents when I was 18. To be fair they kept the noise down a bit after.

Of course even at this late stage it may be worth asking do they have a double bed I'd change it if they do for a single or twins ... But then they may come along soon enough lol

I have had girlfriends since i was 16, im now 21.
From my experience, its not what they are doing at night time that is your concern, its what they are doing when you are not at home..... :P
Seriously though, it is your house, and if you are uncdomfortable with it then just talk them. I'm sure they will understand, just dont embarrass them!
