Mine is mounted by behind the upper left rear foot rest mount - and is wedged in a certain way that the back of it is covered in shit off the chain etc - and is very hard to get purchase on to break it off
Oh - couple of the nut heads are a tad sharp....

Thanks fellas. Got a replacement - cost £7 and the nice lady at the DVLA confirmed that they will not be able to get a refund. The things,like Andy says, it was in a carbon fibre holder with 6 alen bolts locjing the disc window..... checked it on Monday and they just snapped the bloody thing off. Anyway sorted now thanks.

I'm in the "Don't display" category with the Falco after having two nicked/broken.
On my CBR I display but only cos Glasgow City Council traffic bandits are total c**ts.
One of em was gonna ticket my bike for hanging a bar end over the imaginary vertical line he'd drawn up from the edge of the motorcycle parking bay.
He now knows what I think of him and how long he could expect to being fed through a straw should he touch my bike.
