You don't want to do that - just put up some small but brightly coloured (mango?) arrows - by the time anyone objects they will have served their purpose!

No just practical. I've had a fair bit to do with folks trying to arrange stuff and have found it's best to just get on with it - if you ask you are simply giving someone the opportunity to say no!
