Ok, done it, still in one piece!
Don't think I get rid of the 'Pizza delivery' logo yet though...
Had a brilliant time, managed to find out lots of stuff about the way the Falco handles and have just increased my confidence in the tyres/handling by about 300%!
Stayed pretty much at the back for most of the time (well, near the back) but the morning was very relaxed and let you just find your way round nicely.
Good bits
Weather - Stayed dry all day
Being at Brands! Sooo cool
Staying on bike (bit of a relief)
Getting confidence in lean angles, tyre capabilities etc
Paddock Hill Bend
Hailwood Hill
Druids Bend (albiet bloody scary)
Bad bits
McLaren/Clearways - Tried every line known to couriers and STILL never got it right!
Last two sessions of the afternoon were very mixed ability - Two people were on the track for the first time with an instructor and holding everyone (even me) up. Another two were out doing race-prep with a guide!
Decided to call it a day for the last session (combination of tiredness, rapidily diminishing group of starters after too many gravel-trap incidents and frustration at not being to get round any quicker!)
Overall, a fantastic day out and an experience I'd recommend for really getting to know your bike in a safe(ish) environment
Next time, it'll be on a hire bike, then I can learn to race
