If it's down to the plastic/primer.. Then arse. I feel your pain.. :smt009
I've seen a lot worse but it's through the paint. You can get touch up paint on ebay.

Not sure whether I'll rush to do that - might get it properly sprayed when I've rebuilt my bike fund .... and it's a spur to get on and finish doing the Tombaa fairing mod ....

A local bike shop recommended an outfit called Motopaint.

http://www.motopaint.co.uk/

They quoted me £45 to paint an hump to match another panel off the bike. If I find an hump I'll take them up on it. Thinking about a colour matched belly pan too.

Might be able to help with a belly pan.. Thats if you haven't got one already.. :smt001
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

I'd quite like one.
I have some money or could barter with broken ER6 parts (future collectables).

Depends on the quality of said parts.. There may well be a deal here.. Depending on how many parts and how broken they are.. :smt002 :smt003

Does anyone know where I can get a broken ER6 that's in need of some broken ER6 parts?
I want to understand how useful my commission might be. :smt004

Hmm.. Not sure.. Although it sounds like Mr Squid has an ER6 that may require knackered parts.. So could always sell to him. :smt002

Well I should have in the magic shed.

Possibly a bent pair of standard bars (unless I've skipped them)
Bars ends, one with custom dent.
Some worn OE pads.
A cable with a kink in.
Back caliper with a cracked mounting.
Maybe a knackered battery.
Half an offside front engine mounting bolt.

And when I get round to taking them off the bike.

Snapped downpipes.
Seized in and probably split (usually are) stick coils.
Coming soon, pair of shagged RoadSmarts.

Can also throw in a small, timid but friendly cat.

If you want a knackered ER6 you can either buy a new pre-knackered one from the factory in Thailand.

Or find one that some poor bugger has mended. Wait ten minutes or until it rains.

How big is the cat? - Will it feed a family of 5?

Very small and stringy looking. Can catch edible mice though. One every 6 months guaranteed or your money back.

Not so attractive. Whereas I do know someone with a number of recipes for cat, I don't think they've got any cooking tips for small rodents.

Must admit i'm somewhat disappointed.
