oh goody....

always remember what the difference being between kinky and being perverted actually is...... Being kinky is using a chicken feather during sex.....

being perverted is using the whole chicken,,,,,

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

.... and I think the number of people coming along to say theirs is fine just demonstrates the issue - they are inconsistent - some are good and some aren't.

..... bit like datatool alarms judging by the varying reports ..... oh dear another can of worms

I got one last year but not fitted it yet, the quality seems ok on first inspection, but it was over a month late

yep at least us newbies can give a report in a year or so

I paid for mine in Nov last year, supposed to be arriving this week so will report back. To give him credit he did advise the stand would be ready by Jan, its only a few weeks after.

Fingers crossed I dont have to report in the negative coz that'll mean a fair bit of damage - perhaos I should get myself some crash bungs before hand

The ebay ad I bought from stated they would be ready 'sometime around the end of february' - I can't think he'd do two seperate batches, seems like a ballache to me.

If you've got a bellypan you may need to add a couple of washers so it doesn't catch, also watch the stand sensor pin, it's plastic on the early models and can snap off, later ones were metal...it's been covered on previous posts...can't remember your bike so sorry if the above doesn't apply :smt003

Side Stand...

#30 Post by GregD-UK » Thu Feb 17, 2011 4:11 pm

Hi all,

Got one of those, what a piece of carp! :smt009 Sat way too low, and it actually snapped on me :smt013 Can't remember if I chucked it or kept it too send back. Was lucky enough too get a reallt cheap US spec stand from AF1 for $75.00

Bestest stand in my view, twice as thick and proper part, good lean angle as well. If you can get a US version BUY IT!!!!
My warranty is the clear/smoked tail lights around the corner!!
