I know, solidworks is so much better than inventor.
I only have a hooky copy of solidworks 2004, not the newest ones, but it does me for home.
Here's the lathe, need a mill no :)

Pass me a hammer, a spanner and a cuppa

Nice.. that Warco stuff is pretty good.. And fair on price too. A friend of mine has one which he does odd jobs on. I think it's digital speed control with manual range selector. Could be wrong.
Anyway.. ye a lucky git..lol..

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

It is a pretty sweet bit of kit, has metric and imperial cutting gears so it's just like a mini 'real' lathe

This is only a temporary place for it. Turn it through 90 degrees so it's back is against the other wall and shove it sideways about a metre (where there is currently no bench) and a new bench will miraculously appear under it, next to that will soon be a lovely little mill (there damn well better be anyway), a pillar drill, off hand grinder and another vice
Once it's all in I'll post a nice picture to make you all as jealous of someone with space as I was a few months ago :)

Hey wayno
nice bit of kit.
The first thing I shall be doing is making myself a set of mirror adaptors so I can fit the RSV ones with built in winkers
I would be very interested in a set of these

let me know if you are making "extra" and how much?
Cheers

I've still not started on those yet, I really need a mill before I can get on with a set of those. I won't be making any extras as I'll have to profile the outside by hand (can't afford a 5 axis CNC

).
If I ever get my arse into gear and make some I may make a mould and knock up a resin set (a mate of mine with a project RS has asked me about a set)

The new mill arrived this morning (only a little one but any bigger and I couldn't lift it onto the bench). My boyhood dreams are finally fulfilled

Excellent.. Just the job for the garage.. I'd have trouble getting the machines at work into my garage.. Although if they every became 'available'.. I'm sure I'd be able to find/create room for them..lol.
I've included a few shots.. Cuz I think you'll be interested to see um

Water jet machine. Cutting 1" (25.4mm) thick aluminium plate in this shot. Can cut more or less any material up to around 6" (152.4mm) quite easily.

Left to right;
Arbour press. Radial drill. Tooling storage/jobbing area. Jones & Shipman surface grinder. Hyd-Mech (Canadian) band chop saw.

Cincinnati miller (that thing will take off 1/4" (6.35mm) in one pass). Two 'Bridgeport' millers, pillar drill and 'Union' grinder (wheel diameter about 15")

And lastly the lathe.. The one machine I seem to spend most of my time using. Apart from the waterjet cutter that is.
Yer still a git..lol..
