If the bike's back together, I have the fuel funds available and I'm not working, I'll have a go at getting up there. Will be a last minute decision though.

We <may> be able to make this one... Due to the proximity of Easter, the Royal nuptials and May day, I'm able to take 7 days annual leave and wind up with 17 days away from work. So we may do an early run to France for building works and spend most of May in Blighty.

In which case, can we come and play?

I suppose we need to be looking at possible dates in May for the Newark Barge meeting.
It would have to be from the weekend of 14th/15th of May onwards for me, as I only get back off hols on the 11th.
However that would make it very near to the Marches Meet, so we may have to look more closely at April or June.
Anybody else have any thoughts on dates?

Probably best to start a new thread, I think, otherwise things get a bit messy.

With current planning, we will be away from 22nd April - 8th May, and will be attending the 'Bearded Theory' festival the weekend after in Derbyshire. The next weekend (20th-22nd May) is Mart's Shropshire meet, and the weekend after that is Whit Bank Holiday. So the calendar is getting a tad full already...

Yes, BG, it's definitely happening. And it'll be all the better for your presence.

Would love to attend but unforunately I'm racing that weekend. It's the first round of the 2011 hillclimb championship at Hartland Quay, nr Barnstaple Devon.

I'll be riding a Falco though, so hopefully I'll avoid a dunking, or burning.

I'd love to see that, I've ridden up and down that road when I was on two wheels!

I do believe that Mr Griff Osbourne will be in attendance..

mainly to drink but no doubt advising on things etc.....

i also believe that he is bringing the guards to protect his sweetie tin......

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
