A great article! Thanks to those who mentioned ridersite / aprilia ridersite

..especially Paul aka Aladinsane from RiderSite who provided enough info for a book let along an article...

I think from reading it (online) the Falco has done quite well at the hands of the media. :smt001

Sadly nobody in South Yorkshire is selling the Feb version of Ride yet, everybody is still fully stocked with January versions, (WH Smiths at Meadowhall and the lot!).
So can't buy a copy!
Can't open up any of the copies done by Fg Man via Photobucket, even though I can see all the normal Photobucket pictures OK.
So sadly cannot read any of it.
Off to Andalucia next Monday morning for a fortnight, so with my luck the Feb copies will in after I go, and be sold out when I get back.
Fame at last for the Dark Side, and missing all of it! :smt009

and your bike is in it as well....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I now know why, I have just upgraded to a new AOL wireless router tonight and it's something to do with the new AOL Desktop software, as I can open the URLs OK in Explorer.
Now find they only used the picture and not any of the write up I did, so will have to settle for that.

and howard.... they didn't use any of the book i wrote either.... (though there are parts of the text that look very familiar!) they did not use any of my photo's - apart from Hanna's - and then they got her colour wrong.....

BUT

am really pleased with the write up - they have made a couple of mistakes, but generally a very positive review. Also, this forum gets excellent publicity

Final thought - I loved the "enthusiastic bunch" line :)

Howard let me know if you want me to buy a copy for you, it's no prob, will be going Tesco again tomorrow morning, if not i can photocopy the pages and post them, you could also try the WHSmith at the airport if you are flying...let me know and have a good holiday...if you get out of the country!!

The quality of the printed magazine and the print/scanning process is not going to be perfect even beyond 600dpi so appologies for the poor quality

Yeh but you, (PAUL !!! ) did get a mention as being the author of the "book".
Thanks to FG Man, (very much appreciated!), I have read all the article now and it is generally good and also gives the site some good publicity, so as you say, it's all pretty good really.
At least it was worth the effort of emailing them with our thoughts.

Thanks very much for the offer mate. Once my browser was sorted late last night I managed to read your copies posted up, thanks!
I will probably get a copy somewhere before the weekend or possibly at Brum airport on Monday morning, so should be OK in that respect, but thanks for offering!
