Not sure of the capacity ..... which is why I didn't include it in the quote .... so the only thing I answered was whether or not it fits ....

Don't give up so easily.

IIRC the early mille items were metal so might be up for a bit of customisation.

Now where did I put that big hammer?

Would be nice if it was an easy mod ......

I just heard it wouldn't - think that was probably on AF1.
'fraid that's all I know.

TBH I didn't know there were ever any metal tanks - you learn something every day.

Go on be a pioneer. I'm thinking that the front would be a pretty close fit and would be easy enough to fabricate a bracket to make it fit right.

Air boxes were the same IIRC so should be no problems there.

The back could be a bigger problem, but as long as the overall length isn't way out it should be solvable.

Probably the biggest issue will be touching the frame and fouling the bars.

The bottom of the air box was the same, the top is different - same capacity but the high points are in different places.

Problem is all at the back, isnt it? Fouling the frame top spar and subframe mounts with the RSV tank like has been said above

Nowt a decent angle grinder or hammer couldnt sort.
