I thought about doing that many years ago, but the other way around (white nose to black rear). My idea was to have a white front wheel and a black rear wheel, with the paint going from pure white on the front mudguard and nose cone, through graduated shades of grey to pure black on the seat hump. Never did get round to doing it (probably for reasons of cost)...
I bet a paintshop would charge a pretty penny for that. But I bet it would look good. Anybody with Photoshop skills care to try it out?
