cheers, I had seen that, but I will use Revsracing as a few people off he had used him and he has done a few white spring shocks for the Falco and replaces the shrader value as well. I've also spoken to him on the phone and he was very helpfull.sabestian wrote:Gazuk, check this out

Did you use Revs Racing in the end for the shock rebuild? If you did what were they like?........I'm looking at getting my shock rebuilt (as per my other post) and need to find the right people.gazuk wrote: will use Revsracing as a few people off he had used him and he has done a few white spring shocks for the Falco

I didn't use them as I didn't buy the shock at that time (it was a mille white spring with unknown mileage so I thought it would have needed a rebuild). Instead I've got a newish sachs yellow spring which won't be having a rebuild so works out alot cheaper.
I did speak to the guy on the phone and he was helpful.

Gaz,
Don't forget you'll need the RSV linkages to fit this spring Yellow unit on the Falco. The different linkages provide different leverage and if you use the Yellow spring unit with the Falco linkages, it effectively lowers the spring rate. Can't remember exactly how much, (about 10% or so I think ??).
You can use it, but it will be softer than standard, depends on your weight I suppose. You could also get a stiffer spring fitted but usually cheaper to get the RSV linkages second hand.
Good luck with it.

let us know how you get on gazuk before i fit mine.gazuk wrote:Thanks Howard,. I am going to try without the linkages first (cos I don't have them). Nothing to lose, if it doesn't work out then I'll try and get the linkages. A couple of peole on this site are using the yellow spring sachs without the mille linkages and say it's ok.
