Brake disc thickness

True, but I don't think the difference between sintered and organic is as marked as some would make out. My preference (and the pads I use) are Performance Friction Carbon Metallic, and they are excellent in all conditions. They do need a bit of heat in them for best results but once up to temp are great.

They are bloody expensive, though.

I've seen too many discs (stainless and iron) worn badly by sintered pads (especially EBC HH) to be happy using them myself.

Like everything else, it's all personal choice and what suits me won't find favour with someone else.

I use sintered pads on the front, they work very well but are a bit more "sudden" than the standard organic, which means you have to be carefull not to just grab them! (Unless you like stoppies)
On the rear I am now using (Goldfren?) Carbon Ceramic and this has helped me to discover something I never knew existed before -
A rear brake on a Falco, (with standard cylinder and calipers).
Not brilliant, but the best I have ever had on the Falco.
