They fill yer lugoles with goo (and a bit of string to get it out once it sets) then send the mould off. A couple of weeks later they arrived by post.

I've found them very good and even sleep in them at rally's with no problems at all.

Cost a bit though 70 quid IIRC, but last forever.

Yup, I know the company who do this, cant remember the fekkin' name either, but i have 4 sets coming 'for work'

This is what I was thinking of, bloody bargain if you ask me even with postage to the UK, although I'd suspect you can get something similar there. There's a link on the left "fitting instructions" gives you the how to do it instructions. I might get myself a back up pair.

I recommend using a bright colour (my current ones are bright orange) as they are easy to find if you drop them.

Tim, that link looks like the ones I got at Donny, but it was many years ago now, same procedure though.

Another vote from me for the Howard Leight MAX ones, have used them for years and you can wash and re-use them quite a few times.
Have also used MAX Lite from the same company, just as good and a bit easier to fit, but can't re-use as often.

I've just ordered these:

Box of 200 pairs for £25 delivered - that'll do nicely. Should keep me going for a while, and they have a 39db SNR rating, as well.

Blimey, that's a good price

They look identical, & have identical specs to my GTmoto ones from Halfords, for a quarter of the price. They're very effective and comfy. Good find

I've always found that if you buy from bike shops, you will get ripped off. If you buy from industrial suppliers (where they sell to people using heavy plant and machinery) you get the proper price...
