Gutted for you G. A very sad day indeed. :smt010
I used to have a zzr600 a few years back until four big blokes picked it up n walked off with it from outside of my house and stuck it in a Transit van.
I know all this as my little-old lady neighbour and her hubby watched em do it and never did or said a thing for nearly a week! :smt013
I never saw it again and never got a payout from the insurers either, (long story).
Took me quite a while to get over that.
Especially as I had to make do with a '82 GPz600 as a stop gap... :smt003
(Nearly killed me that bloody bike!)
Hope you get a newun sorted before your trip Fella.
Hope the thievin' gypsy bastiches get theirs as well!... :smt013

Clearly an inside job. The missus has clearly seen the new bike as a rival. Take her upstairs, tie her up, gag her so she cant scream and spank her 'til she admits it.

If she doesnt own up and is found not guilty, well, at least it was fun while it lasted... :smt002

Thanks everyone for your sympathy.

I haven't always replied to others who've been in the same position, but now I know, I damn well will reply.

Even after just 6 months it feels as if something is missing and its not just the bike.

Really sorry to hear about your bike Gio.

Really bad news Gio, even worse when it stuffs up a holiday as well. :smt010 :smt010
Fortunately(??), I've only ever had cars stolen in the past, but went through bad spell 10 to 15 years ago, had two stolen and numerous other break ins and attempted thefts. The insurance always paid out quickly, usually 1 month, but the pain was the NCB. Had a number of other cars damaged during attempted thefts and ended up repairing them myself as could not afford to keep making claims. Trouble is you get hit on all the insurance policies you have even if you only claim on one.
