Thumper...you are entitled to your opinion of the police, as am I, they may be 'useless' as you say but they have been made that way by a constant stream of Governmental bollocks designed to protect the Ned bastards we all hate, resulting in a service that's hamstrung, powerless, under staffed and disillusioned, and I should know. By the way, what do you do, just in case I know one of your trade, if he is useless, I can brand you all useless!
Don't take my remarks personally exupmonky, It's just that I have encountered some unbelievably rotten policing locally.
I do not regard policeman as useless just as you yourself have stated, the system does not help it's function. Political correctness and ridicules administration procedures are paralysing its officers, some of which are my friends.

As for me I'm a retired grumpy old fart these days :smt002

I didn't, I had my tax disk nicked in London and rode it for a whole year without one displayed :smt001 (saved me £7.50 and a queue)
Come on Exupmonkey - a written confession from Gio - please come and nick him and give us all a rest for a bit !

Syltiz, when you've moved let us know - I feel another meet coming on! We can all park up on your old road at 8am, pop the baffles out the exhausts and let them know what a twin sounds like!

Mornin' all :smt006 :smt098

Guess it all comes down to security. If you make it difficult they will look for another easier, bike. I have a wireless alarm at home and got motion detectors and door alarm on the garage simple job of putting them up thats all. Its worth it as you never know what that noise in the night was, better safe than sorry to keep the bastards off.

Thanks for the support fellas. The bike is safely at work now. I kinda feel like I have given in to them but I have no choice. 2 weeks, new place, no more worries.

I live in Surrey. Got a Falco with renegades that need repacking. Got a brother with a Mille and Akrapovic. Got a mate with a Tuono and blue flame. I reckon the whole lot at 6am (8 is too social) on the morning you leave is the way to go :smt002 Dunno whether I could get the lazy feckers out of bed to do it though. Perhaps bike at work is the best thing to do.[/quote]
