wasn't it reported late last year that insurance was going up about 40% and not just for youngsters?

How time flies, I thought it was the year before :smt017

The other odd thing about insurance is property ins, after 4 years of increasing premiums ours has dropped by 10% (that's on buildings not contents (which have gone up marginally).

I think a lot of it was related to 9/11.

Which is why it's a good idea to shop arround if you just accept what your new premium is you will pay more, as stated in the thread. ^^^^
