Just gassed up the Flaco after a two-month layoff due to the heat. Fun starts now!
Glad you have enjoyed our neck of the woods....

Yeah we found some awesome roads! A couple of the best were some random ones too, such as from a Gite we stayed in heading vaguely towards Millau : http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&sourc ... 3&t=h&z=12

And going from Draguignan to Grasse not via the peage was a great shout : http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&sourc ... 8&t=h&z=11

But the best ones were undoubtedly the Pyrenees - heading into Spain from France down this route gave racetrack smooth twisties from 1st-4th gear - http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&sourc ... 8&t=h&z=10

.... think my ears just popped !

You have very clean clutch fluid ..... guess you must have changed that at the top of the hill to be that clear!

The surface looks a bit iffy in places .... but still a lot better than roads back home.
Ratio of bikes to cars looks high there too.

..... and I'm trying desperately to hide my jealousy by avoiding saying how much fun it looks ...... though it does ....

Lol - nothing gets past you D! I took a bit of a leak on holiday I think - didn't realise it fully at the time as I wasn't doing big miles. Despite topping it up for a few days (and everything being fine) one day the clutch was engaging closer and closer to the bar... luckily it was near the end of the day and lo and behold we were riding past a huge bike dealer. So I booked it in for a fluid refresh the following morning and bought a fresh bottle of fluid which kept it topped up every other day for the rest of the trip. They only charged me 24 Euros to bleed the clutch with new fluid! Bargin!

Maybe it's because I changed my clutch fluid yesterday .... you tend to notice these things more at such times!

Think autistic Columbo and you're halfway there.

You know, like... the bastard lovechild of Columbo and Rainman

Sorry .... i'm completely lost here :smt017

I've seen Columbo .... I've heard of Rainman - even know it had Dustman Hoffbin in it ..... but I've really no idea what this is referring to.

Aaaanyway... back on topic... part 2! Bit faster with less hairpins. Also, the 'woohoo' was surviving a slight front wheel lock up after overtaking and breaking into a hairpin hehe
