My good mate & neighbour got pulled yesterday by a plain clothes Subaru Impreza for doing 125mph on the A15 (MCN bike weekend at Skegness, so Lincs was seething with Plod)

Luckily for him, it was early in the morning - Plod complimented him on his riding (IAM & military police trained) but said 125 was TOO fast, so gave him a fixed penalty notice.

Jammy fecker is STILL grinning & thanking his lucky stars :smt002

Just goes to show that there are still good coppers out there who can use initiative.

(He was on a BM K1200RS, just in case you're wondering :smt003

Just called the nice people at North Wales Central Ticketing Office re taking my license with me to France, they said no problem, as long as you let them know, you can have 28 days to surrender it.

So off to sunny (I hope) Brittany in the morning! :smt004

Bye :smt006

Wavey - remember it's a public holiday here tomorrow, so make sure you fuel-up in the UK before crossing (petrol is probably cheaper there anyway). 24/24 garages still despense fuel but *sometimes* will not accept UK cards. Bonne Voyage.

Cheers Falcomille, getting the 20.30hr Portsmouth to St Malo ferry tomorrow, so disembarking Saturday morning.

Hope there are no fishermen, truckers, farmers, taxi drivers, nuns etc. blocking the roads over there at the moment?

Dave
