Don't forget that your leathers, lid and clothes will take up the same room as another person in a tent!

Exactly, nooj! That is why I recommended a 2 man tent with a large porch for solo camping, and a 3man for 2 up trips. 2, or even 1, set of wet riding gear takes a lot of room and creates a lot of dampness.

And if you're after cheap but reasonable ... in Aldi from Sunday:

And to keep all your kit nice and dry as you ride through the downpours:

Spotted in Tescos this lunch time

4 man tent - £30.00
3 man tent - £20.00

Can't speak for the quality though.

Asbo has them for about the same

(Sorry I mean asda - its just that everyone who works there seems to have tattoos etc so the name stuck....)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I have just brought this for the summer weekends

Packs small enough to carry on the bike considering it is a 5 man tent

Like Pete (Aladinsane) I got mine from the same place he did but got the Apache3

As a cackhanded tent erector I can say it only took me 15 mins to get it put up.
