Long way to go, mind. It's got to be getting on for 1000 miles from Sunny Sheffield... How often do you get over there?
Until recently, every few weeks. It's only an hour and a half from Calais. Last 6 months, not very often as work has been at weekends. Still, no need to worry about that at the moment! :smt003

Fastas - There's a cheap stopover hotel in Le Touquet called the Hippotel. There's four beds to a room/suite and fridge and cooker are included in the price! 15 minute (nice) walk into town It's not in the Somme (quite) but definitely on the way.

La peupleraie in Nampont St.Martin does cheap rooms and great food. Really nice people

Best websites we've found are
www.drive-alive.com (includes cheap crossings - last time worked out at £300 each for 6 nights and tunnel crossing) and
www.hotelpronto.com (doesn't include the crossings and is best for the bigger towns/cities only)

Well you would still have V60, and both are nice bikes so good luck either way.
Hope you get things sorted or, better still, the job situation gets better.
I have a few friends and relations suffering in the same way and the consensus seems to be that it will almost certainly get worse before it gets any better.
Let's hope they're wrong.

Hey, if things get worse, I'll learn Portugese and get a cleaning job, sell ALL the V60s and buy a C90

Ooooh, France is looking better by the moment :smt007
