the panniers and tank bag are fine for that - the tail roll is large so generally sits on the rear seat....
solution for you would probably be some form of rack - ventura do one for the falco

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
They do indeed. My Falco came with one, and it works well enough. Can look a bit ugly if you don't take off the 'hoop' that holds the bag on. (They're a right bugger to get off, so mine's just been left there.)Aladinsaneuk wrote:solution for you would probably be some form of rack - ventura do one for the falco
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.

You lot are far too posh wi all yer fancy luggage and racks and locks and stuff.
Expandable tail pack for all trips. If you don't take it you canna wear it.
Oxford throw overs for trips where I require tent and sleeping bag to occupy the seat.
They're a bit of a fiddle every morning to bungee back on and repack but it gives you more time to sober up.

Got a Ventura rack for mine and stuck a top box on it - rack lasted 2 weekend trips to the Highlands before one of the rails broke. Luckily spotted it while stopped for lunch... OK, rack wasn't designed to have a box on, but now got a Hepco and Becker rack which seems muck more robust. Those following do say that top box doesn't bounce about as much.Viking wrote:They do indeed. My Falco came with one, and it works well enough. True! The Ventura rack is not that strong and the rails do flex a bit. If I have to carry anything, I put the bag on backwards so that it's resting on the seat.silverfalco wrote:Got a Ventura rack for mine and stuck a top box on it - rack lasted 2 weekend trips to the Highlands before one of the rails broke. I had a GearSack rack on the old Honda, and it was strong enough that I could lift the back of the bike with it. (Love that 1/2" square tube it was made of.)

I just wish that GearSack made a rack for the Falco.

I have managed to remove the plug from my headstock, so that will go with it - BUT it is a bit tatty and does have a ram ball on the top of it - ideal for mounting a garmin etc!
No takers by saturday then I will evilbay it :(

Still trying to work out what selling Falco luggage has got to do with Pete having his rear end modifiedAladinsaneuk wrote:as a part of my rear end modification, I will shortly be selling my luggage

Perhaps I missed something whilst I was off on holiday.
Was it a major operation, and does he now need a modified blow up seat cover?
