BTW, your new shock will bolt straight in.
Can anyone confirm this as the place I am getting the shock from has the linkage available as well.
For me the lists are of interest as it gives me an insght into which mods are most popular which means that I can concentrate on the best ones to criple the flexible friend first

If, as you say, it is for an 99-00 RSVR, then the linkages are the same as the Falcos.
The Aprilia Yorkshire website is always a great resource for checking part numbers and this often is a good guide to compatibility between models

When I had my Falco I'm pleased to say it came with an awful lot of mods (F9), but we managed to change the exhaust system back to a twin, but high lvl renegade units and also a different bellypan.
The camera will be reinstalled next weekend and the wires all hidden, for those ride outs and track days.
Yeah I even get to borrow it myself again :D

So next time we'll actually get to see video footage of road-sky-kerb-sky-grass-sky-road-old git swearing?

I vaguely remember Mrs. Viking saying something along the lines of "I don't care what you spend your money on, or what you do to your bike."
The main problems are that I don't have time or a place to work on the bike.
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.

Touch wood accidents seem less ofter now and I've never ever cartwheeled a bike

.
If you're interested I have a film of the Rye rideout of May 2007 ago (1 hours worth) and 750Mb worth. Sounds not so great but you can hear the induction from time to time.
